ikarus Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 You can specify a bounding box larger than your simulation grid on the gas vorticle geometry node. whodini Posted May 28, 2014 Author Share Posted May 28, 2014 Ok, so I managed to make a bigger vorticle box that covers the full bounds of the smoke sim, I have about 20,000 vorticles and I've set the vorticle recycle to the bounds of the vorticles geo. I'm noticing that the sim becomes exponentially slower as the vorticles get swirled around is there any way to optimize sims that use vorticle forces?
