fieryspoon
I have two objects that I am merging together, then piping into a multi solver with a bulletrbdsolver and a sop solver attached. I want the sop solver to only run on one of the objects at the top. How can I do this? I've tried attaching the sop solver to just the object I want it to affect, but that doesn't work. The documentation say that groups only work if you're feeding the geometry into the first input of the solver, which clearly is not an option for the multi solver. I'm at a bit of a loss. Any help would be appreciated :-)
fieryspoon
Hrm, filling in the group name to solvers if the first input is empty seems to work erratically. It works now for the sop solver after recooking it a few times, but the fan_force says it's an invalid group. I'm pretty new to DOPs, but maybe someone could explain what the intended workflow is for building solvers that operate on only parts of the simulation within a framework that is simulating all of those individual pieces together?
