Quazo
Hey guys, I have a little problem with the smoke rendering in my scene. When I want to render through cam1, the smoke doesn't show up. It does though through the ROP Camera. The position and framing of the camera are all right, because the smoke appears after 40 or so frames. Did anyone experience this problem, yet? Draknova
Hey Quazo, I never met that problem before. However, When I rendered your scene, I could fix it by don't importing or deleting the velocity field. I think you should only save necessary fields such as the density, heat or/and rest field. Like this you will save some precious disk space. You should also reduce the size of your scene. I hope it will help you Edited May 13, 2014 by draknova
Quazo
Thank you Draknova! I tried this, but it didn't help. The density is not visualized in the viewport either.
woodenduck
I notice that your pyro container is 14824 x 15000 x 5000 with a division size of 20. I have never seen a simulation that big. Generally with simulations Houdini behaves best with real-world units.
