Baldric
Hello again. So, I am struggling a bit to understand how to control rotations on particles in houdini 13. I have uploaded a simple example file that contains some various ways to rotate particles (you can switch using a parameter on the node called "popvop_rot_based_on_speed1"). These ways to do this was suggested to me by a couple of very nice people here in the forums :-) However - what I would like to understand now, is how to further manipulate rotation. For example, how can I have a setup containing already rotating particles, and then get them to rotate yet faster or slower depending on their speed or some other attribute? I tried to simply multiply a calculated rotation based on speed with the rotations already there, but I am not getting what I want. So I am obviously doing something wrong, or not understanding the concepts properly. Does anybody care to help? Thanks, Doug rot_by_speed_problem.hipnc
