Delete constraints by force

Since I discovered that the magnet force and glue constraints don't work together hand in hand I wondered whether the magnet force can't be used to measure a force on a glue position to decide whether or not this glue constraint should be deleted or not.

I found several approaches here and on other forums using e.g. a sphere to determine the position of a constraint. If it is inside the sphere or object it gets deleted.

Since I am new to H I wonder whether this couldn't be done with a force and a threshold.

Did anybody try anything in this direction?

Cheers

Tom
