Lancio
Hi crowd, Using Arnold in Houdini 14 right now, I want to render a particle simulation with a background image in the beauty but not in the alpha and i cant get it. Someone can help me to archive this?
ObiNon
i assume you need it to be a bg image and not an image on grid constrained to camera ... you could unselect all the checkboxes on the arnold properties tab except 'visible to camera rays' ... but there might be a better way to do it with the bg as well. SSFX
As said in the doc, background images are not supported by htoa at the moment. https://support.solidangle.com/display/AFHUG/Cameras Here's a dirty hack that might do the trick for what your are trying to achieve. htoaBackgroundImageHack_v001.hipnc

Lancio
I was trying to make a shader to connect in render enviroments options, but it does not work with the image file. This dirty hack works incredible. Hope solid angle fix this in next version.
