csp
Hi, I am wondering if there is any noise setup in vex to create radial creases/wrinkles on a grid? Like on image from 3dsmask but on flat, ingore the bump. Edited July 14, 2015 by cparliaros
jim c
A crazy idea: based on a center point, generate a series of lines, copied N number of times radially around the center point. Assign point attr that defines the "weight" of the wrinkle. Generate a greyscale image in the COP context based on these lines and their weight values, Add noise, etc to the image. Then create a grid, add vex sop, bring in the image from teh COP context and use it to displace the grid points along normals?
csp
It's a mistary, almost everytime I post a question few minutes later I will find the answer my self. ToPolar node will do most of the job. Still need more work for secondary creases. If you have any ideas or knowlenge to improve this setup please share it here.
