Deadly_Pixel
Hi guys, I'm a CGI student and I've tried to learn Houdini on my own for the past month, and it's not a piece of cake. I would like to understand how to realise a shockwave dust effect like this (not the explosion, only the shockwave) in houdini : If there is someone who could take the time to explain or show me some example file, I'ld be really gratefull. Thank's for advance. Edited August 23, 2015 by Deadly_Pixel

msyugo
Hey, The particle sim should be really quick. Thse pyro one not as much... That might have been the latest one, wich means it has relatively 'high' settings. For you to work and get a feel of your sim increase the division size until u think u have something that could work, and then increase the resolution back for more detailed sims. Also, save the project on frame 1, otherwise will have a long waiting time every time u open the file!
