ch3
Since pbd grain simulation is ignoring any friction on passive objects, how can you set different friction values on individual colliders? I have sand sliding a tilted surfaces, which then hits the ground. I dont want the sand to slide at all which on the ground, but if I increase the 'Friction with colliders' most of the sand sticks on the tilted geometry. Any ideas? Also I have a little trouble to make falling sand create a small pile in a realistic manner. Looking at references, the sand piles up in layers as it forms the hill. On the other hand the behavior I am getting is sand constantly pushing the sand already on the ground to the sides.Has anyone had to do something similar and has any pointers? thank you
apguest
Have you watched this H15 Masterclass Grain Video - 22mins into this might help you for the stacking up of the sand... add some Drift threshold and Enable Mass-Shock to Local.
