n4vdeep
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me, I'm learning destruction techniques in Houdini, and I wanted to know if there was a way to paint glue constraints so as to paint areas I don't want to break or vice versa? Also are there any tutorials out there on glue networks and how to implement them realistically? I have 2 simple scenes where I have painted in where I want my fractures to be but on simulation in 1 of the scenes the entire wall either breaks or falls down at frame 1, how do we make it so: a) the wall breaks on impact only and the entire wall DOESNT break and falls only the when the torus area that goes through the wall breaks and the rest of the wall holds its structure? I have included the scene files, they are simple scenes. Any help would be great. Thanks guys. Nav RBDtestWall.hip RBDtest.hip
davpe
hi, you can define "active" attribute for packed pieces in SOP and then read it in DOPs (you have to enable it on RBD packed object). working and labeled example in the attachment.
