robinlawrie Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 is it possible to use a cached grain sim as a collision object in a new grain sim? ive got a wet sand sim cached, and id like to add a layer of dry sand on top. i did have it set up to sim both at once, but it maxes out my ram. ive no idea how to set up such an arrangement, and worry that id end up with exploding particles in the new sim. is there a recognised workflow for this kind of stuff? will it actually save me ram?
