cakeray
Hi,I am currently working on a project that involves a lava simulation. My inspiration for this project is the behaviour of the lava in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFIWWM0Iv-UI have set up a fluid tank, which a grid below emitting the bubbles. While the final shape of the fluid is not exactly what I want, that is not where the issue lies.My main issue is that my fliptank "collapses" as I increase the particle separation. The fliptank works at particle separation = 0.05, but completely "collapses" at a value of 0.01. The rest of the setup is exactly the same and no other values have been changed. If there is anyone here who has faced similar issues, or knows what the problem could be then I would really appreciate your help!Rushil
rbowden
Its kinda hard to debug what exactly the cause could be without an example file to help debug. Did you mess with the Particle Radius Scale on your flipfluidobject? If so, try putting that back to default to get stability back. -Ryan
cakeray
I have attached the file I'm currently working on with the particle separation value of 0.01 where it can be seen collapsing. Particle separation of 0.05 works fine although it is lower in resolution bubbles1.hipnc
