pax
Hey all, I have a problem with motion vectors from houdini that I want to use in nuke. I really don't know if it's a houdini or a nuke problem. But maybe someone can help me with this. When I apply the vectorblur to my image in nuke, everything (amount/direction/…) works as it should. The only problem are the artifacts you can see in the attached image. Here's how I set it up: In houdini I used the getblurP nodes which are multiplied by my resolution. In nuke I shuffled the vector plane into the motion plane and that into the vectorblur node. I checked all the posts I found but none of them explained anything about this artifacts. If any of you have had the same issue and found a way to fix it, it would be immensely appreciated if you could give me a hint to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance! motionVectorProblemNuke9.nknc motionVectorProblem.hip

pax
Thanks for the reply! We currently use Nuke 9 in production.... But we probably switch to Nuke 10 some day. So I tried it. The result is much better. The only problem are those little lines you can see in the attached image. Do you know how to get rid of them?
