shawn_kearney
I have a pyro-based cloud which I would like to render in Guerilla using their advected noise feature, I am assuming I can just use a rest field for this, but lo and behold, no rest field. I made sure Rest was being imported, and it was. So I went into DOP and made sure that Rest was being calculated by Pyro, and it was (well, it is now, but still no Rest).conf Is there something else that needs to be configured? I'm not even getting an empty field. There just is no volume prim called "Rest" being spat out. ETA - I used the billowy smoke shelf tool as a template, in case that helps. ciliath
on the smoke object tick *add rest field* in the initial tab; and on the solver go into advanced --> rest field --> and enable Rest now try importing rest and rest2 (dual rest fields)
shawn_kearney
Thank you! That works. It wouldn't be Houdini if it calculated the rest data and by default had somewhere to put it!
