Mario Marengo
Here's the obligatory dumb question from "the new guy"... The first time I heard about this I thought "why would you want to implement Ordinary Differential Equation solvers, when I'm sure the HDK does or will expose (haven't checked) at least that much of the stuff behind DOPs?!?"... Then I followed the link to the ODE site... question answered... n00b status confirmed OK. So we're talking about a full physics engine... *much* more appealing (But *boy* what a bad choice for a name! -- I don't think anyone thinks "Open dynamics Engine" when they hear "ODE", do they?) But I'm still wondering... anyone know how much of the underlying DOP structure will be exposed in the 8.0 HDK? Of course... now that I think about it, however much of what becomes available will be undocumented and may turn out to be a little hermetic, so... Anyhooo; fun project no matter what (for us masochistic types), but I just thought I'd ask. Cheers!
