bgazdi20
I am getting a few frames where chunks of my i3d's dissapear. Has anyone ever seen anything like this and know of an easy fix? http://studentpages.scad.edu/~bgazdi20/i3d_artifacts.mov
doc
What version are you using? Try turing your variance down in your i3d ROP. Or just try turning compression off all together. In an effort to save space sometimes certain voxels get rounded down to 0. looks good by the way. Luca
doc
This has nothing to do with the original artifact, but I thought it might be of interest. Not sure if you're doing this already, but if you stamp the metaballs weight attribute you can control the denisty. When I first started using i3d I was only scaling the metaballs, when I found out weight affected density things went a lot smoother. bgazdi20
Thanks for the reply, I'm stamping the weight when the particles die but not when there birthed, I bet thats the problem. I'm gonna do some more tests when I get back to a machine. Brian G
