miguel m
How can I make the copies rotate with the particles like they do when using the instance pop? Tried some Stamping at the copy SOP using the rot attribute from the pop, but not getting anything close to what instancing does. Thank you
anakin78z
whoa, it should do that out of the box dude... make sure 'rotate to normal' is turned on. I'm a monkey
sirogi
well...not quite... make sure you mind your up vectors (copy stamping is sensitive to these too!) ,can you say "point SOP"? I trust between those two, your problem is solved
miguel m
Thank you guys, damn I had it in front of my nose. Regarding the up-vectors, i had already thought of it but i had no up-vector attrib in my particles. So it's something else that defines the particle orientation, and that is of course velocity. Just had to rename v to N in the pop SOP.
