aracid Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 hey all I trying to render some clouds using the same old instanced sphere with random rollling textures as their alpha. it renders really well however the ram usage is seriously high, so i render accross different machines using -H host1,host2 etc however this causes problems where if any machine crashes is there any settings that can -- limit the ram used by mantra -- rerender the buckets that crash? then... does anyone have any tips for rendering scenes with alot of semitransparent objects? thanks in advance aracid Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
