Using pcopen in a FLIP fluid?

In my DOP network, I can use POP wrangles to manipulate points just fine (i can set the temperature to a constant and it works) however, I want to be able to average the values of surrounding points for each point. I've narrowed my problem down to the fact that my pcopen isn't actually returning anything. I've tried it with a '0' as the first input, and I've tried it with the same geometry that is used by the FLIP fluid itself as an input - however neither returned anything. Below is the VEX that is causing my problem.

This first image shows the DOP network - the 'tempDiffusion' POP wrangle is where the pcopen is. The second image is of the geometry that has been used to create the FLIP fluid. Thank you for your time.
