ntmonkey Posted June 4, 2006 Share Posted June 4, 2006 Hi Gang, I'm struggling to find a solution to make particle instanced objects like leaves land flat on a terrain. The actual effect is to have some ashes scurry across the terrain, flipping sliding and whatnot. I'd figure if I could solve this, then I could use it for leaves, or falling coins that always land flat. I'd figure if I could solve this, then I could use it for leaves, or falling coins that always land flat. 28277[/snapback] Off-hand (ie, I haven't tested this), I'd suggest trying to blend the instance's orientation vector between something "noisy" (to get the flipping and fluttering) and straight-up based on the instance's height above the ground.
