ziggx
Hi Everyone, I have made a DOPS simulation of a wall being smashed with a wrecking ball. I have also created some particle dust that is created separately as the wall is fractured. What I would like to do is (somehow) get the wrecking ball geometry to interact with the dust particles. As the wrecking ball swings it would makes the dust swirl. Only the problem is... I can't figure out how to get the DOPS geometry into my pop network. Any hints, tips, or pointers would be gratefully received... TIA Ziggx
craig
Anywhere in Houdini that a parameter is looking for SOP input, you can reference DOP geometry with the syntax <dopnet>:<object_name/Geometry> for example, /obj/dopnet1:rbdobject1/Geometry See the attached, and look at the Collision POP in particular. particleCollide.hip
