Starrider
I recently got a new laptop (Thinkpad X Yoga) which only comes with an on-board GPU (Intel 620). I am aware that I shouldn't expect to get much performance out of it, but at least the viewport could work so I could try some basic stuff and code. When I start Houdini in Windows 10, my viewport is all messed up. The 3d view works and I can generate nodes and see their parameters but yeah, it's a mess. I've installed the latest Intel drivers which didn't make a difference. Enabling OpenGL debug in houdini.env just throws this error - which I guess is unrelated: HOUDINI_OGL_DEBUG(7) Deprecated MED: API_ID_LINE_WIDTH deprecated behavior warning has been generated. Wide lines have been deprecated. glLineWidth set to 1.500000. glLineWidth with width greater than 1.0 will generate GL_INVALID_VALUE error in future versions I installed CentOS and everything works perfectly fine there. So that would be my workaround, but still would be nice to use it in Windows. Any ideas?
