protean
Hi, I was thinking the other day about tasks that aren't my current ones (usually the thing) and it occurred to me I'd like to make my own pixel filter, in render rather than post. But I couldn't find much information or any precedent. The docs for deep output got me thinking that maybe it was possible but I could find an 'easy' entry point. Quote When generating an image, mantra runs the sample filter to composite samples to a single color. Mantra then runs the pixel filter to produce the final color for a pixel. A deep resolver is used to store information about each sample prior to sample filtering. This allows the image resolver to store information about each individual sample before compositing. Just curious, J
