omnikopter
Hi guys, I'm a Houdini beginner hoping to get some help with my flip simulation. I've been asked to create a frontal view yacht shot as it hits a pipeline wave. I've managed to get the wave to curl the way I want, but the client wants to see more of the inside of the wave with some definition to it (as in the photo reference). I thought adding some kind of stirring object in front of the wave would help create some extra definition and white water to it. I've added a comb-shape geometry to the simulation (as a deforming static object that moves up and down). I'm struggling to get much effect from it though. I was hoping you'd be able to help me set the scene better or perhaps use a better technique to add more details to the wave. I'm attaching the scene and the comb geometry. The boat model is quite heavy so I'll omit it for now. Thank you! pipewave19.hiplc comb.obj Edited April 1, 2021 by omnikopter
