tagosaku
Hi, I have a question about Cache SOP node. The node is useful to store data temporally in memory and we can scrub the play bar to check animation the viewport. However, I wonder, when we send a file to a render farm, does the Cache SOP still try to store data to a memory? or Actually does houdini deactivate the Cache SOP node to save a memory space? If Cache SOP is still using the memory in the farm, we'd probably better to manually set the cache SOP bypass before sending the farm. Please let me know if you have precise knowledge for this, thank you!
