some more results... i think this has to go in the WIP section... but it has issues...

I get those white lines... I am detecting the edge of the rust area... and using that to bump map the painted are... the border between paint and rust...

Something is wrong :)

Ok.

The "Edge Bump" thing did not work. I have tried the "Normalize VOP" in all possible ways. I still get those white artifacts. I am posting this problem to the other post... "Growing Procedural Texture"...

I will icnlude a render test and a *.hip file.

i think you need normalize vop before piping the bump to lighting model.

It worked... Thanks... I spent so much time and I have been piping that normalize thing in the wrong place all the time!
