addis
I'm facing an issue with Houdini where it generally works fine, but whenever I try to move sliders in parameters , it freezes and eventually crashes. I don’t think this is a hardware problem since my specs are quite solid (intel core i9, RTX 3070, 32GB DDR4 RAM). I’ve also tried using different Houdini versions, but the problem persists. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this or how to fix it? I’d appreciate any advice or guidance.
addis
it was a driver issue . i got to rollback my nvdia graphics to 511 and i also change my houdini version back to 19.5.805 . i am not facing any crashes when i move sliders or while scrubbing the timeline . thanks to the almighty
AbbyAdam
It could be related to graphics drivers or a conflict with Houdini settings. Try updating your GPU drivers and resetting Houdini preferences to see if that resolves the issue.
AbbyAdam
It could be a driver issue, especially with your GPU or display drivers—try updating them. Additionally, clearing Houdini's preferences or running it with the -noui flag might help isolate the problem.
