underqualifiedDoctor
Hey guys! I have a few questions about vellum grains, that I was wondering if you could help with. 1. How do I stop the simulation from having completely different behaviours if I change the particle separation? Maybe I have set something up wrong? (test scene attatched), Obviously, is a huge problem lol for art directing when depending on how close you get to the sim you could be waiting ages for an iteration. Obviously, you will do a point replicate afterwards to increase the resolution of the sim, but original sim can't be too low-res either otherwise it will look blobby 2. Kinda following on from the last question, what steps should be done post-sim? I've currently got a point replicate, to add that extra detail into the simulation afterwards. But is there anything else? I can't see much information about this online, so I was wondering if anyone had any other things they do I've attached a test scene, I'm trying to have a sandcastle fall apart, so any extra tips, or workflow improvements, feel free to let me know. I'm all for that! Thank you so much in advance, any text, photos, scene files, gifs, etc etc, is super super helpful I really appreciate it exampleGrains.hiplc
