diaz
Hi all, I apologize if this is the wrong place to be posting a question like this, but there isn't really a dedicated hardware sub-forum. I'm about to purchase a notebook soon, and would like to run Houdini 9 on it sometime later but am unsure if it will be powerful enough. The notebook I'm looking at is the Dell Precision M4300. I'm a little worried that the Quadro FX 360M is too much of an entry-level card to be of any good when more advanced stuff are being manipulated in the viewport. Ideally, I think the M6300 would be ideal, but I'm not willing to put up with the bulk and weight, so the FX 1600M is out. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
