Matt.b
Hello everyone, I'm new to Houdini and the website, but I need your help because I'm trying to create a Vellum simulation on top of another simulation. Long story short, my first simulation looks like this: (Sorry, I don't know how to use an image with a URL) https://gyazo.com/329da84689ed8f3da1b8ea85b995d136 Then I run it in a for each loop so I can refract each piece while maintaining the animation. With an exploded view, I have this: And now, where I'm having trouble: https://gyazo.com/65823f02b1649f19353f8e93a6fd8582 I want to rerun a Vellum simulation that will make each fragment fly with the popwind. To do this, I've already defined propagation attributes. I simply want the parts to follow the first simulation until the "activate" attribute is equal to 1. Then, each part with attribute 1 becomes independent of the simulated mesh. I don't know if this is clear, sorry, I've been on this for 4 days with ChatGPT and a tutorial, but I can't figure it out. I've tried many parameters and a lot of VEX code like this. https://gyazo.com/67d219f2edca7dbd09fcf78a80ce645d https://gyazo.com/4fef09ea1b1d2685c781a6217170ff95 This is the simplest test I've done. There are others in the .hip, but I got the closest results. I don't know why these points disappear. But with another configuration, I got simulations like this. they take too long to cache so i can't show you the 100+ frame, But yesterday with a setup I managed to make each piece fall according to the activate attribute, but the pieces that did not have activate at 1 therefore stopped at 0, did not follow the movement of my basic simulation, I hope that someone will have the faith and the time to help me, thank you
