mpm solver and presets

Hi, 

After some quick advice please. 

With the mpm solver presets in Houdini 21, I can't quite work out a setup where i bring in a sphere and then use that as a surface in mpmsource and have it tear apart when it hits a collider. 

All I really end up with is the collider kind of hitting the particles and pretty much pushing through the particles, and particles don't quite rip apart.

If anyone has advice for settings or presets (or online tutorials) that would be great.
