Vinz9
Hi, I'm trying renderman with houdini, and it works pretty smoothly, except for a few problems : 1) I can't get colored shadows using houdini lights, wether depth map shadows with transparent checkbox, or raytraced shadows. I've noticed in the rib file, my spot light is replaced with asad_light, located in the /houdini/ri_shaders folder. Is there a way to change this default behavior? I got colored shadows when trying another light shader with raytraced shadows. 2) Testing a simple glass material with raytraced refraction/reflection, it works fine when using the sphere primitive, but I have to reverse normals if I switch to a nurbs or polygons sphere (or other objects). Am I doing something wrong ? 3) Where I can change settings for the "view:renderman" and shader preview? By default the "diffuse visibility" attribute is off, so materials with raytracing show up wrong. Thanks a lot!
