zbhoudini Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 i made a meteor followed by miguel's turtorial.it seems ok early,but the final rendering is not what i expected.the fire is not birght,and the smoke is flat.migue use the z-depthmap to improve it in houdini8.but i don't know how to use it in houdin9.1.who can tell me how to deal with this matter,thank you. meteor.rar Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Put Point Light(or any other light source) in your scene. Then go to tab Shadows in Light Parametrs and select "Deepmap shadows" from dropdown menu of shadows types.
