Zanozza
Hi! Is it possible to create deforming wire? I mean no just wire with some special kangular, but the wire that can receive deformation and stay in this condition, like ordinary metal wire. Thank you! GallenWolf
Do you have an example of what you are trying to achieve? I'm don't understand your question sorry... Alvin
Timm Dapper
Hi! I think you mean a wire, that after being hit by something doesn't spring back to the initial pose, but to a pose that is deformed by the hitting object? If you don't need the deformation to occur in simulation but can fake this pretty easily by animating the rest geometry (don't forget to switch "Use Deforming Geometry" on for your wire node). If it has to occur within simulation, you'll probably have to somehow automatically feed the simulated geometry deformation back into the rest geometry, not sure how to do that. GallenWolf
If Timm's way is what you want, Zanozza, you can try a wire with low or zero kangular and high angular damping.
