masstapro
Captured points from a grid using a sphere. Sphere is animated and I'd like to transfer the sphere's normal (a single point) to all the points being captured. Thus emitting particles with an animated normal from a second object. See attached file. Not sure if I should transfer the normal to the group in SOPs or grab the normal in POPs. {Thinking I need to take a look at the Attribute Transfer SOP in more detail} Thanks, ~ShawnnormalTransfer_H9_v01.hipnc Edited June 7, 2008 by masstapro
masstapro
I got help and this is exactly what I was aiming for. Look at second particle sop. Particles are emitted from points that are grouped from an animated sphere. A normal from the sphere is transfered to the particles, actually the group of points being captured.
