aracid
have u tried using a point sop, and changing the normal direction? do you specifically want to enter degrees or radians ? is this instance from a POP network ? it is easy to randomise the rotation in Y axis with copy stamp. how to do this in point instance? ykcosmo
yes, I tried point sop with adding normal, it seems to "direction", not "degrees to rotate around an axis". it is not a instance from a instance pop. Here is the file which I wanted to make with point instance, but it is made with copy sop now. bb.hip Edited August 14, 2008 by ykcosmo
old school
Yet another reference to Wolfwoods excellent Copy SOP and Instancing post: http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com...opic&t=6679 You can use the rot quaternion attribute. VOPs has good support for rotate values and mapping in to quaternions. -jeff
