sbjones25 Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 okay i need to know how to get houdini/renderman to create a *.tex for a shadow, because i need to pipe the depth shadow back into my light. i'm using H9 and renderman 13.5. This my current set up: I've got a spot light1 with a custom shader. i was planning on having another copy of the light that is pointing and at the same location as light1 with another shader that will create the shadow from the same place. what shader do i need to be using on this second light that will be creating the *.tex shadow? also, what settings would i need to adjust in my Renderman outputs. anybody know of maybe a better way of doing this or how to do it the way i'm wanting to set it up??? thanks, Stephen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
