bensimons
Hey, If you're in Toronto Canada make sure you check out Toronto City Hall in the next week. The guys from Berlin CCC are in town and have setup Blinkenlights for the Nuite Blanche Festival. The display is running now, and will continue till Oct-10. The big night will be this Saturday (Nuite Blanche). Check it out: http://blinkenlights.net/stereoscope The buildings combined have 960 windows, and is the world-record for the largest computer display. You can contribute too! Make sure you check out the create and simulator sections. Previous animations from Berlin and Paris will be playing (the Berlin Spinning Star and the Dancing Kylie Anim (Paris Arcade) were done in Houdini). You can even play Pong & Tetris on the building, via mobile phone. This time the lights are all connected over a purpose-built wireless network. It's pretty cool. cheers, ben.
