Evil Minion
Hello everyone, I am meshing a particle fluid with the Particle Fluid Surface SOP, and would like to use an expression in the Surface Distance field to make the fluid thicker or thinner in different places. But I can't seem to access any of the particle attributes, like age or scale or whatever custom attribute I give them. If I understand correctly, the Surface Distance is scaled by the pscale attribute, so that would be a possibility to bring in some control, but then the Point Radius Scale is influenced by pscale too, so I would be changing both of those at the same time. In the help docs on PFS there is no section about local variables, does that really mean non are accessible?
GallenWolf
In the help docs on PFS there is no section about local variables, does that really mean non are accessible? Usually if it's not there, then probably the local access is not possible. You may instead want to try a copying metaballs + convert meta as an alternate solution. HTHs!
