Dreymo
Hi, im trying to make a tower collapse after half of it was smashed. I did some simple tests, but already failed. :/ I want to separate the geometry in multiple pieces to save calculation time and some control. In my first setup i have two RBD glue objects: The outerTower and the innerChunks. The innerChunks are glued to the outerTower and also have InnerGlue, and the outerTower is glued to the Groundplane. Problem is nothing works like it is supposed to. When i change the innerChunks to glue to the outerTower everything stays static and its all moving (1st pic). The bricks only separate when there is only InnerGlue specified. But i want the outer bricks which touch the tower surface to stay glued. I have attached the scene and a preview pic so you know what i am talking about Thanks in advance! -Dreymo breaktower.zip Edited March 13, 2009 by Dreymo
Zanozza
I believe you want to get this result? So... to glue your active rigid bodies to any static objects - is absolutely wrong way. The glue -1 is not good too... Take a look on my example there, on sidefx forum. This is simple and cheapest solution.
