davidlee Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 Hello, I am just playing around with the ripple solver and i'am wondering how I can get the result shaded? A first thought was using a fileSOP and then reimporting the geo frame by frame and texture that, but of course within the AutoDOPit is a fileDOP and that only seems to write out .sim files which can't be reimported as objects, right?!?! I have the same problem with him . and this (side:http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?showtopic=8807&st=0&gopid=58160entry58160) can not open. brianburke Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 You'll want to bring your dop object into SOPs to add a material. Once in SOPs, you can work with your rippled object like any other piece of SOP geometry. You can do this with the Object Merge SOP or the DOP Import SOP.
