2.5d Mattepainting - Image Integration With 3d

Hey J,

Here's a quicky spherical light (in VOPs) ... it assumes the map parameter is some kind of environment map and projects it in all directions. Move the light around to see the effect (you'll have to fire off a render each time to see it since the effect won't show up in the GL viewport).

Hey Mario

Sorry for not getting back sooner, but managed to have a look.

So awesome.

I wasnt that far off when constructing it in Vops, I think I was put off the fact that I couldnt see the projected image in the OpenGL viewer.

So...ive had a play around - does projecting spherically actually have any real uses? Can you model within the sphere to create a similar illusion as with projecting a photograph onto dummy models?

Ive had a bit of a go, but its hard to model blind :D
