Global Illumination And Ipr

Hi all.

Have anyone tested Global Illumination in the IPR?

I have made some tests and sometimes get strange results.

First of all I suposse that to cache the needed information for the IPR cache to work with irradiance I need to active all the objects in the Object For Raytracing parameter of the Mantra ROP I am using.

With this set, it seems that the IPR doesn't work correctly with the VEX Global Illumination shader. For example I need to Clear IPR Cache every time I change the Sampling Quality of the GI shader, this is the correct behaviour.

Moreover when I have an Irradiance cache file and I choose the File Mode to Read Only and then Clear IPR Cache to force to regenrate the IPR cache the render doesn't use the irradiance cache so it recalculates again all the global illumination, in spite of I have selected Read Only mode.

Anybody can share their experiencies using global illumination and the IPR?
