How Easy Is It To Bring A Textured Model From Maya To Houdini?

I've got a model which has been uvmapped in Maya that I want to bring into Houdini. How would I go about doing this so that I can texture / animate / render in Houdini? Would I need to re-uvmap?

export the model as .obj --> import the .obj in houdini --> make a shader (vexlayerd surface) with the texturemap --> you are done.
