Naohito Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Hi: I am very new to houdini particles, there is a basic question about collision. I want to have few particles stick to a sphere source and make them collide with a grid. After collision, each collided particle became another source and start to spread particles. The problem is, I used collision DOP to make particles stick to the sphere. Then I use another collison DOP to detect hit information with grid. But I found that even particles hit the grid, the second collison didnt work at all and I can[t get any hit information from that. Is there any good ways to obtain hit information and use that as conditions for another particle? I guess the reason is that the first colission DOP make all collision information freezedm but I cant find another way to make particles stick to a moving pbject Attached file shows how I test this Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
