Keyframing a rigid body simulation

Hey guys,

I have a simple rigid body simulation and I would like to somehow bake the animation into keyframes so that I can scope and edit these myself. I understand there might be a method involving CHOPS but I'm a real beginner to Houdini and haven't investigated that far yet.

Is this at all possible? If someone could throw together a very simple demonstration for me I would be their best friend forever!
