blackchicken Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 hello, little question, I trying ODE sim, which is cool, but have problem import all objects into scene from RBD.I use this expression if($F%10 == 0,$FF,0) for create one RBD object every 10 frame, all is ok but into scene improts me only one objects. I have other little question, I dont understand little bit saving simulation to disk. I save sim file by dop rop and then add file, first with connection,then without, but RBD still compute something, I close houdini, open it and need sroll with timeline, take dynamic from file, but dynamic start computing, So, for what is sim files? I thought that it is same system like geometry rop. I didnt change anything in RBD tree. Thanks a lot...BC.... stevenong Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Without seeing your hip file, it's difficult to tell but make sure you turn off Display flags of Import SOPs, DOPnets etc. Else, open the Performance Monitor and see what's causing the cooking.
