kunal
Hi im trying to animate a mesh made with different tubes. Basically its a formation effect where we see various circles form a whole mesh of tubes. I know how to do this in houdini by animating the U and V values on the carve tool but i cant use Houdini for this project. Anyone knows how to do the same thing in maya....I know how to extrude a circle on a nurbs curve. Just need to know the correct workflow for doing the animation so i can control the extrusion over a period of time. ur help will be greatly appreciated

If you now look in you channel box you will have 2 inputs called subCurve1 & subCurve2. Animate the min/max values there. Edit... I would never call it "carve tool equivalent".
