domino
Hello, I am working on a fur object and am playing around in the hair shop. What I would like to know is if it is possible to create two hair shaders and get them to randomly apply over the fur object instead of just having one shader for the whole fur object? ie. hair with randomly contrasting highlights in it, or grass blades that vary in color. Thanks in advance! I appreciate any feedback or suggestions
anim
you can check "Set Hair ID" parameter on Fur Object in Skin Tab or if you are not using shelf tools, it's directly on Fur SOP/Skin Tab this way you'll get access to hairid attribute in surface shop so in surface shop create Parameter VOP, name hairid, integer, invisible then you can for example plug it to Random VOP then Ramp Parameter VOP and use it as hair color or whatever
