mad cz math Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 Hi, Basically, does the luminance VEX function has anything to do with the term luminance in Radiometry ? No matter if it does or does not, what am i supposed to understand about it ? In one shader tutorial, i see people use the luminance VOP node, with input is the out color of the texture, and use the output to drive the amount input of the displacement node. In the docs, it says "Compute the luminance of the RGB color specified by the parameters". Hmm, i got confused. Chuong Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
